Do I need an account or an app to play?

No account registration or native app is required for this browser version. It has keyboard, mouse and touch controls. An internet connection is needed to load the game; progress stays in this browser and does not sync to another device. Start with the first-room walkthrough or read where your save lives.

Is Banana Cat available in English?

The adventure menus and guides are in English. The chapter map, Arsenal and Collection use English, while battlefield hints and some status labels remain in Chinese. 我的武器 opens My Weapons; 关卡地图 opens Level Map. Use the menu and control guide to follow an attempt.

Why is the room not over after I defeat the cats?

Every breakable object must also be destroyed. The counters can include enemies still waiting to enter and finite Boss helpers. Fixed furniture is cover and does not count as a breakable object. If only objects remain and you have Candy Minelayer equipped, switch weapons. Follow the unfinished-room checklist.

Do coins unlock new weapons?

No: weapon-type unlocks are free. The original arsenal unlocks through cumulative destruction; six additional types unlock after clearing rooms 6, 10, 14, 18, 22 and 26. Coins buy shared quality and refinements. There are twelve weapon types and eight shared growth stages. See the weapon unlock and upgrade tables.

Why can I not buy an upgrade while the game is paused?

A paused fight is still an active attempt. The purchase also needs its room-clear requirement and enough coins. Refinements additionally require Growth VIII and, from +2 onward, the previous refinement rank; see the refinement requirements. Finish the attempt and check Arsenal at the result screen. The quality purchase guide explains which progress system each upgrade uses.

Enter your progress in the upgrade condition checker to see what blocks the purchase, your next tier and the remaining coin cost.

Why does mobile aiming choose another target?

Auto-aim prioritizes nearby shootable hearts, then available cats, then objects. It checks range and a clear line around furniture, and briefly keeps a selected cat to avoid flickering between targets. Move around cover or use direct battlefield aiming for a manual direction. See mobile controls and auto-aim.

Why will my mine or charged weapon not fire?

Candy Minelayer needs a valid placement; Sunflower Charger needs fire held. On touch, drag the mine button and release rather than just tapping it. A mine needs a nearby clear point and an available slot. Hold Sunflower for the full charge; releasing early cancels it. After switching weapons, release and press fire again. Use the bounce, mine and charge controls.

How do I unlock Cry Burst, and why is it disabled?

Clear room 10, reach 100 charge and wait for the cooldown. Then press E or the skill button during combat. A free continue resets charge, and the skill is unavailable while paused. It does not destroy objects or grant invulnerability. Read Cry Burst’s charge sources and limits.

What is the difference between free continue and restart?

Free continue keeps the damaged room; restart creates fresh targets. Continue free restores 100 HP, keeps broken objects, remaining enemy health and coins, and resets skill charge. Restart retains wallet and campaign progression but begins the room again. Replays can pay object coins again; first-clear bonuses do not repeat. Compare the choices in Continue, Restart and Replay.

What if Banana Cat will not load?

Keep any tab with unsaved progress open and retry the same address later. Do not clear site data as a first fix. If the page opens but your progress differs, check your original browser and profile.

Follow the loading and save checklist →

My progress disappeared. What should I do first?

Check the same address, browser and profile before changing data. Private sessions, www versus non-www, another browser or another device can have separate storage. Keep a tab showing your correct or unsaved progress open. Do not clear site data as a first fix. Follow the missing-progress checklist and read the save message guide.

How do I collect postcards?

Finish any room each day, then claim your next postcard. Replays count, including room 1. Choose Claim postcard on the result screen or in Collection, once per local calendar day. Days reset at midnight on your device. Missing a day does not lose cards or skip ahead. Earlier saved clears and simply opening the game do not qualify. There are 21 cards; existing claims stay yours. See postcard claims and saving.

Why does my saved upstairs room have the old enemies?

Existing attempts keep their previous behavior. The eight new encounters apply to fresh attempts in rooms 21–30. You can finish the saved attempt normally, or use Restart this room to begin a fresh one with new enemies. See the upstairs enemy guide.

Why did my collection not save even though my room did?

Medals use a separate browser record. A collection save can fail while the campaign remains playable. Use Retry collection save when offered; invalid records are preserved, and protected campaign saves do not grant new medals. See medal storage and recovery.

Privacy, sharing and contacting us

Do I have to allow analytics to play?

No. Choose Essential only, or change your choice using Privacy choices in the footer. The game, saves, guides and postcard sharing remain available. Read the Privacy Policy.

Does sharing send my progress?

No. A site share uses the public page link. Your local campaign and claimed cards are not included. Opening a public postcard does not unlock it for another player.

How do I report a problem?
