Who to contact
The Banana Cat website team maintains this website. For privacy requests or questions, contact yoosenjet@luxenastudio.com. This policy covers idlecatgame.com; external websites, including itch.io and social sharing services, have their own policies.
Game saves and necessary preferences
You can play without creating an account. Campaign progress is stored in your browser’s local storage; medals and claimed postcards use browser databases such as IndexedDB. These records include room progress, coins, weapons and collection state. Sound and interface preferences may also be stored on this device.
The game does not upload its full saved campaign to an account or cloud-save service. Local records remain until you or your browser remove them; supported updates may keep local recovery copies. Clearing site data can permanently remove progress. See Save & data before making changes.
We store your optional analytics choice separately for up to 180 days. Declining analytics does not delete or prevent game saves. If browser storage is unavailable, a choice applies to the current page but may need to be made again on your next visit.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is enabled by default without an automatic permission prompt. You can disable it at any time using Privacy choices in the footer. We use Google Analytics to understand page visits and gameplay activity, such as level starts, outcomes, duration and weapon upgrades. Google receives technical request information and may use cookies or similar identifiers, browser and device information. We do not send the complete game save, your email, or a name in custom gameplay events.
Our analytics adapter removes page query strings and fragments and reduces the referrer to its origin. Google Signals and advertising personalization signals are disabled. Analytics is not a backup or recovery service.
You can use Privacy choices in the footer to decline or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal disables subsequent analytics through our adapter and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. It does not undo data already received by Google. Analytics reports are retained according to the property’s configured retention settings; contact us for questions about a specific data request.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from partner sites. The Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on is another browser-level option.
Hosting and ordinary web requests
Cloudflare serves and protects this website. Loading a page or file involves technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser headers and request time. Hosting and security providers may process logs to deliver content, prevent abuse and diagnose errors. Read Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for its practices.
The website does not request precise location, microphone, camera, address-book or payment information. External links are contacted when you choose to open them; those services can receive ordinary browser request information.
Advertising and third-party cookies
Google AdSense display ads are not enabled in this release. A publisher verification tag and ads.txt identify the intended advertising account; they do not themselves load an ad or an advertising cookie.
If Google ads are enabled in a later release, Google and other advertising providers may place or read cookies, use web beacons, and process IP addresses or other identifiers to provide, measure and protect ads. Advertising personalization may use information about visits to this and other websites, subject to your choices and applicable consent requirements. We will update this policy and put the required advertising consent controls in place before enabling those ads.
This website’s analytics preference panel is not an advertising consent platform. For Google advertising choices, see My Ad Center and Google’s advertising technologies information.
Sharing pages and postcards
Share and Copy link buttons use the public canonical page URL, without your query string, game save, room progress or collection record. Native sharing opens your browser or device share panel. You choose the recipient or app; we do not send messages for you.
Postcard image generation occurs in your browser. Saving an image downloads it to your device. A shared public postcard does not transfer a saved game or unlock it for another player. The selected sharing service handles the information you decide to send under its own policy.
When you email us
If you email yoosenjet@luxenastudio.com, we receive your email address and the message and attachments you choose to provide. We use them to handle your inquiry, investigate reported issues and keep relevant support correspondence. Please send only what is necessary. You may ask us about access, correction or deletion of that correspondence; we may need enough information to confirm the request and retain records where required.
This website has no public comment uploads, email newsletter signup or user account system. You can follow public update feeds without giving us an email address.
Your choices and younger visitors
Use the footer’s Privacy choices button to change optional analytics. Browser controls let you inspect or remove cookies and site storage; deleting all site data also removes local game progress. For privacy rights that apply where you live, contact us using the address above.
We do not ask players to submit their age or create a profile, and advertising personalization is disabled. Younger visitors should ask a parent or guardian before sending personal information by email or sharing through an external service. If a child has sent personal information, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its removal.
Policy changes
We update this page when data handling changes and show the revision date above. A material change to optional data use will require an appropriate new choice. You can continue to browse guides and play without allowing optional analytics.
